On January 16, 2025 afternoon, in Hai Phong, two key projects of Kinh Bac City Development Holding Corporation including Trang Cat Urban and Service Area and Trang Due 3 Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment Project were awarded the investment registration certificates, witnessed by leaders of the Government, Central Ministries and Hai Phong City.
On January 16 afternoon, Hai Phong City awarded investment registration certificates to 5 domestic direct investments (DDI), with the total capital of VND 79,425.52 billion (equivalent to USD 3,394 billion) and 6 foreign investment projects (FDI) with the total capital of USD 125.65 million. Among them are two most outstanding projects of Kinh Bac Group including Trang Cat urban and service area project and Trang Due 3 industrial park infrastructure construction investment and trading project.
Leaders of Hai Phong City awarded investment registration certificates to 5 domestic direct investment (DDI) projects and 6 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects.
Accordingly, Trang Cat Urban and Service Area Project invested by Trang Cat One Member Urban Development Company Limited (a subsidiary of Kinh Bac City Development Holding Corporation - KBC) will increase capital by VND 62,746 billion (so the total capital shall be VND 69,087 billion). The project was approved by the People's Committee of Hai Phong City in 2010 with a total land area of 584.94 hectares, in Trang Cat Ward, Hai An District, belonging to Dinh Vu – Cat Hai Economic Zone, Hai Phong City.

Trang Cat Urban and Service Area Project is planned with a system of coastal urban areas and a synchronous and modern structural system, developing types of housing such as adjacent houses, villas, mixed apartments, social housing areas, etc. The project is organized into 5 areas (White Pearl Area, Dolphin Area, Starfish Area, Coral Area, Social Housing Area) with separate themes of different characteristics.
Trang Cat Urban and Service Area Project, when putting into operation, will create an open, friendly and close space to nature, serving the increasing needs of Hai Phong people as well as international visitors living and working in the city.

In addition, the second project of Kinh Bac Corporation to be awarded the Investment Registration Certificate is the Trang Due 3 Industrial Park Infrastructure Construction Investment and Trading Project, invested by Saigon - Hai Phong Industrial Park Corporation (SHP - a subsidiary of KBC). The project scale is 652.73 hectares, implemented in Truong Tho, Truong Thanh, An Tien, Bat Trang communes (An Lao district) with an investment capital of VND 8,094.4 billion.
Previously, on January 14, 2025, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha signed Decision No. 86/QD-TTg dated January 14, 2025 approving the investment policy, the investor of Trang Due 3 Industrial Park Infrastructure Construction Investment and Trading Project, Hai Phong city.
Trang Due 3 Industrial Park is oriented to be a multi-sector, high-tech industrial park in the field of electronics, electronic components, precision mechanics, etc in line with the city's development orientation.

Trang Due 3 Industrial Park project is implemented with the desire to continue the success of Trang Due 1 and 2 Industrial Parks (An Duong district, Hai Phong city) – invested and built since 2007 with synchronous and modern infrastructure items; has attracted large and small projects both domestically and abroad; especially the projects of LG Group such as LG Display, LG Electronics, LG Innotek, LG Chem. Up to now, Trang Due Industrial Park phase 1 & 2 (total scale of 401ha) has been filled with all 100% of commercial land (112 projects) with a total investment of nearly USD 11 billion, showing the attractiveness of Hai Phong city in general, of Trang Due 1+2 Industrial Park in particular.
