On the morning of March 12, 2026, Kinh Bac City Development Holding Corporation (KBC) had the honor of welcoming Mr. Liu Shih-Chung, Head of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Vietnam, along with the delegation, for a visit and working session at the Corporation’s headquarters. The visit aimed to strengthen connections between KBC and the Taiwanese business community, while promoting new investment cooperation opportunities in the industrial parks developed by KBC

As part of the working program, the delegation held discussions with the Corporation’s leadership and conducted a field visit to a representative Taiwanese enterprise currently operating in an industrial park invested in and developed by KBC.

During the meeting, KBC presented an overview of the company’s formation and development, as well as its ecosystem of large-scale industrial parks and urban areas currently being invested in and developed across multiple localities nationwide.

With more than 20 years of experience in industrial park infrastructure development, KBC is currently one of the leading industrial park developers in Vietnam. The Corporation’s industrial park system has attracted thousands of investment projects from numerous countries and territories, contributing to industrial development, job creation, and positive economic growth in localities.

Among them, the Taiwanese business community has consistently been one of the key investor groups in KBC’s industrial parks, particularly in sectors such as high technology, electronic components, precision engineering, and supporting industries. Many Taiwanese enterprises chose to invest in KBC’s industrial parks at an early stage and have continuously expanded their production scale, including Foxconn, Mitac, Longtech, Dragonjet, Chenglong, Umec, Isheng, and Sentec. Taiwanese enterprises are currently operating effectively in industrial parks such as Que Vo and Quang Chau, contributing to the formation of important production and supply chains in northern Vietnam while playing an active role in advancing the development of the electronics industry and supporting industries in the region.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Liu Shih-Chung highly appreciated KBC’s development achievements in building a modern and well-synchronized industrial park system in Vietnam. He also acknowledged KBC’s role as a reliable partner that has contributed to creating a favorable investment environment for Taiwanese enterprises expanding their production and business activities in Vietnam. 

Both sides also discussed global supply chain shifts as well as new cooperation opportunities between Taiwanese enterprises and industrial parks developed by KBC, particularly in sectors such as high technology, smart manufacturing, healthcare, and high value-added industries.

During the visit, the delegation also toured a representative Taiwanese enterprise’s factory located in an industrial park developed by KBC to gain further insights into technical infrastructure, the business support service ecosystem, and future development potential.

The visit and working session by the Head of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office and his delegation not only strengthened connections between KBC and the Taiwanese business community but also opened up numerous new investment cooperation opportunities, contributing positively to the promotion of economic and trade relations between Vietnam and Taiwan.
