Joining the city's delegation were leaders of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority (HEZA), leaders of various municipal departments, as well as delegates from organizations, associations, and over 50 major enterprises from Vietnam and South Korea.
At the Forum, Vietnamese and South Korean organizations, associations, and enterprises participated in two panel discussions covering topics such as: Challenges and tasks for the South Korean manufacturing supply chain; Carbon data management technologies for green industrial parks; and Case studies on the implementation of industrial park green transitions.
In the first panel discussion, "Challenges and Tasks for the South Korean Manufacturing Supply Chain," speakers analyzed the hurdles facing South Korea's supply chain and the carbon data management technologies for green industrial parks presented by GLASSDOME. This was followed by a discussion featuring the participation of LG Electronics, Samsung SDI, SK AX, and KGM
Notably, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong, General Director of KBC, participated in the second panel discussion on "ESG & Carbon Verification in the Global Supply Chain." Co-participating in the session were prestigious organizations and enterprises, including the Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority, Houselink – a consulting firm specializing in FDI promotion and ESG advisory, Bureau Veritas, Barun Law Firm, and Hanyang University.

KBC leaders attended and delivered remarks at the Forum
Addressing the panel, KBC's General Director stated that KBC is one of the leading industrial park and urban developers in Vietnam. Through engagements with international investors, KBC has recognized a profound shift in contemporary corporate requirements. Previously, enterprises primarily focused on location, land leasing costs, and basic infrastructure. Today, investors place far greater emphasis on access to green energy, the transparency of carbon data, and the readiness of industrial parks to meet international sustainable development standards. In other words, in the near future, an industrial park's competitive advantage will no longer rely solely on fundamental infrastructure, but heavily on its ESG and data infrastructure. This is why KBC is methodically transforming its industrial park development model toward a greener, smarter, and more sustainable paradigm. Consequently, KBC has recently prioritized initiatives related to ESG, green growth, and sustainability.
Specifically, KBC has entered a strategic partnership with SP Group (Singapore) to research and develop district cooling systems alongside energy-efficient solutions for its industrial parks in Vietnam, with a particular focus on Hai Phong and Tay Ninh. This agreement is anticipated to facilitate KBC's industrial parks in progressively adopting advanced energy infrastructure models, optimizing operational efficiency, and mitigating carbon emissions.
Concurrently, KBC signed strategic cooperation memorandums with Glassdome Korea and Houselink directly in South Korea to deploy an ESG infrastructure platform across key industrial parks, including Trang Due 3 IP and Binh Giang IP in Hai Phong, and Phu Binh IP in Thai Nguyen, etc. Through this collaboration, the parties will jointly implement a carbon data measurement and management system compliant with international standards, thereby supporting enterprises in fulfilling global ESG mandates while concurrently promoting the eco-industrial park model and attracting a new generation of green FDI inflows.

The most critical aspect is that KBC refuses to let ESG remain merely an orientation or a pledge; rather, it aspires to build an ESG ecosystem capable of practical operation, tangible measurement, and actual value creation for its tenants. Enterprises within these industrial parks will be empowered to progressively monitor real-time emission data and formulate Product Carbon Footprint reports in accordance with international standards.
KBC firmly believes that in the future, industrial parks will transcend their traditional role as mere production sites, evolving into comprehensive platforms for green, smart, and data-transparent infrastructure.
