Forbes Vietnam’s 14th annual list of the 50 Best Listed Companies paints a picture of a dynamic corporate landscape
To compile the 2026 list of Vietnam’s 50 Best Listed Companies, companies listed on the HSX and HNX underwent a multi-stage evaluation process. In the preliminary round, companies were required to meet specific criteria: profitability in 2025, and minimum revenue and market capitalization of VND 500 billion. In the subsequent round, companies were scored quantitatively based on five criteria: compound annual growth rates for revenue and profit; average Return on Equity (ROE) and Return on Invested Capital (ROIC); and market capitalization size during the 2021–2025 period. Banks were evaluated using specific metrics, including ROE, ROA, CIR, NIM, the ratio of provisions to average outstanding loans, the non-performing loan (NPL) ratio, loan growth rate, NPL coverage ratio, and market capitalization.
Next, Forbes Vietnam conducted a qualitative assessment to evaluate the companies' sustainable development: their industry position, sources of profit, quality of corporate governance, and industry outlook. Ho Chi Minh City Securities Corporation (HSC) provided support for the quantitative calculations. Market capitalization figures were finalized as of June 30, 2026, and calculations were based on audited consolidated financial statements for 2025. Market capitalization was determined as of June 30, 2026, based on figures from the 2025 audited consolidated financial statements.
In 2026, alongside its inclusion in the "Top 50 Best Listed Companies in Vietnam," KBC was also honored as one of the "Top 50 Leading Enterprises in ESG." This recognition affirms KBC’s unwavering efforts across all circumstances. The company has successfully developed an industrial park model that attracts high-tech investors and minimizes environmental pollution, establishing itself as a leading industrial park developer in Vietnam. KBC has made significant contributions to national development during the “Doi Moi” era, fostered local socio-economic structural shifts, created tens of thousands of jobs, stimulated demand for supporting services, and contributed trillions of VND to the state budget.
