To celebrate the major holidays of April and May and the Red Phoenix Flower Festival - Hai Phong 2026, on the morning of May 14th, Hai Phong City Party Committee and People's Committee held simultaneous groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies for 14 projects at 13 locations throughout the city. Among them, the investment project for the construction and operation of technical infrastructure in the Binh Giang Industrial Park in Nguyen Luong Bang commune, with KBC as the investor, is expected to become a new driving force for industrial development in the city.

Among them, the investment project for the construction and operation of technical infrastructure in the Binh Giang Industrial Park in Nguyen Luong Bang commune, with KBC as the investor, is expected to become a new driving force for industrial development in the city.
Attending the groundbreaking ceremony were: Mr. Nguyen Duc Tuan, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong City; Mr. Bui Duc Quang, Vice Chairman of the City People's Council; Mr. Pham Phuc Hieu, Deputy General Director of Kinhbac City Development Holding Corporation – representing the investor; along with representatives of leaders from departments and agencies of Hai Phong City, representatives of local government; representatives of international trade organizations and associations; leaders of major businesses and partners; media and press agencies; leaders of companies in the SGI group; leaders of KBC and its subsidiaries.

The project to invest in the construction and operation of technical infrastructure for the Binh Giang Industrial Park is being implemented in Thuong Hong and Nguyen Luong Bang communes, within the Hai Phong Special Economic Zone. The project covers an area of approximately 147.9 hectares, with a total investment of VND 1,755 billion, and is being developed by KBC as the investor.

Binh Giang Industrial Park boasts a strategic location, bordered to the north by the Hanoi-Hai Phong Expressway, facilitating convenient trade connections with major cities, international airports, and key seaports in the region. This is considered a significant advantage in attracting domestic and foreign investors, contributing to the expansion of Hai Phong city's industrial development in the new phase.
According to the planning orientation, Binh Giang Industrial Park will develop as a concentrated, multi-sector industrial park, prioritizing high-tech, clean, and environmentally friendly industries, aiming for sustainable development and resource conservation. Upon operation, the project is expected to create jobs for approximately 10,000 local workers, contributing to socio-economic development and improving the living standards of the local population.
At the ceremony, delegates simultaneously performed the groundbreaking ritual, thereby not only demonstrating the city's strong political determination in attracting investment and developing infrastructure, but also creating further momentum for Hai Phong to continue affirming its role as the leading economic development engine of the Northern coastal region.

According to the plan, Binh Giang Industrial Park project will commence construction in Quarter 3/2026 and be put into operation in Quarter 4/2027. With its large scale and modern development orientation, the project is expected to become a new industrial highlight, contributing positively to the goal of building Hai Phong into a modern, civilized, and sustainable industrial city.
