At the meeting, Mr. Vuong Lai Thang - Vice President of Luxshare-ICT Group presented an overview of the Group and its long-term investment strategy in Vietnam. Luxshare-ICT started investing in 2016 with the first project in Quang Chau Industrial Park (Bac Ninh) invested by Saigon - Bac Giang Industrial Park Corporation (a subsidiary of KBC). After nearly 10 years of establishment and development in Vietnam, Luxshare-ICT has invested a total of about 1.8 billion USD, creating jobs for tens of thousands of workers in Vietnam and becoming one of the leading FDI enterprises in the field of electronic components manufacturing.
General Secretary To Lam welcomed the positive assessments of Luxshare-ICT Group on the investment environment in Vietnam, and affirmed that the Party and State always maintain a stable political and social environment, creating favorable, fair and transparent conditions for international investors.
The General Secretary emphasized the open space for cooperation in prioritised areas such as digital economy, green economy, science and technology, electronic components, semiconductors, innovation and high-quality human resource training.
In the framework of the working session, Luxshare-ICT Group also reported on its investment research plan with a large land area in a new industrial park developed by Kinh Bac City Development Holding Corporation in Bac Ninh province. The Group expressed its desire to expand the scale of high-tech product production and develop a strategic production center in Northern Vietnam.
Under the decisive direction of the leaders of Bac Ninh province and the close coordination of departments, branches and sectors, Kinh Bac City Development Holding Corporation is urgently completing legal procedures, accelerating the progress of technical infrastructure implementation, and committing to prepare the site as quickly - best - most synchronously as possible to welcome Luxshare-ICT Group to implement the project.
